Catherine Levy, who created Dorette, was born in Paris where she continues to live and work. Catherine travels extensively to India and is especially dazzled by the beauty of Indian jewelry. Catherine believes that her line Dorette should be considered daily jewels -- small, colorful, fun and simple jewels that are easy to live with. The prototypes and some jewels are made in Paris and the rest of the jewelry are handcrafted in India.
